Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough
Family Law and Mediation
I understand that my clients need more than just legal advice. They need expert guidance as they navigate the most stressful event they are likely to experience during their lifetime, from someone who understands that the outcome affects not just the client but their whole family.
My clients are my partners in achieving the best possible outcome that will affect not just the client, but the client's whole family. I am committed to advocating for my clients as individuals and to supporting them as they make decisions about their case. I strive to work with my clients to achieve an outcome that will empower them to move forward in their lives after their case has concluded.

Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
I offer fixed fees (not hourly) for the majority of the cases I accept with the exception of court appointed child advocacy (GAL) cases and mediations. Your one hour consultation will ensure that you get specific legal advice based upon the facts of your case, and answers to your most pressing questions. I will meet with you to determine your needs, goals and budget and we will agree upon a strategy. You will know the cost in advance, and will not be surprised with a huge bill if your case takes longer than anticipated to resolve. The cost of your consultation is applied in full to your attorney fees if I am promptly retained. If I decline to offer representation for any reason, your consultation fee is of course refunded.
