I was born in Lakeland, Florida, as a fourth generation Florida native. Growing up in this state, I have earned a deep respect and admiration for Florida's laws and how those laws affect its citizens. It is because of this respect and admiration that I chose to study Political Science at The Florida State University. I then went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida.
My legal career began with a six-year tenure at the Office of the State Attorney in DeLand, Florida. While working as a prosecutor, I obtained the highly valued trial experience needed to zealously represent my clients in the courtroom and see their cases through to completion. I have presented a wide array of cases to judges and juries.
In order to expand my foundation of legal knowledge and experience, I spent two years as an Associate Attorney in a civil litigation firm handling matters such as real estate transactions including foreclosures and landlord/tenant disputes, personal injury litigation, contract formation and litigation, and family law. During this time I earned the distinct honor of being named a "Rising Star" in Florida's "Super Lawyers" magazine for 2013, 2014 and 2015.
The culmination of my legal career was establishing Thompson Law, P.A. for the citizens of Central Florida. Thompson Law, P.A., "A Florida Firm," combines an innovative legal approach with old-fashioned values to provide clients with representation that has both depth and focus.
I believe a small firm can make a big impact on the lives of my clients. Only a small firm can provide the personal attention necessary to navigate the legal system while delivering to my clients a simple and straightforward understanding of the process, and the best possible result.
Given the opportunity, Thompson Law P.A. would be honored to provide to you aggressive representation, personal attention, and accurate legal advice.
