Max Lavit Rosenberg
Rosenberg & Hite, LLC - Attorneys you can count on
I am Attorney Max L. Rosenberg, and I dedicate my practice to assisting clients who are facing financial difficulties, providing them with compassionate counsel. I represent clients throughout all stages of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. In addition to my focus on bankruptcy, I also represent injured parties in personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites. I offer legal services to business owners in matters of creation, dissolution, and contracts. My experience also extends to divorce mediation, corporate and civil litigation, foreclosure defense, and workers' compensation.
During my time practicing in New York, I mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and had the opportunity to argue in every Borough of New York City as well as Long Island. I also served as an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice. I hold Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary, with a focus on Liturgiology. I graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Currently, I serve as the United States corporate counsel for the British Belt Company, various co-ops and common interest housing associations, the Bridgeport WPCA, and Park City Apartments. In November 2018, I was elected as the Judge of Stratford, Connecticut's Probate Court.

- Q. So I work at Subway, and have been accused of stealing meat from the store. All around the store, they are cameras.
- A: I am not sure what the question is. Are they charging you criminally? Did you lose your job? Does or will the camera footage show any theft? Good luck.
- Q. Can a landlord tell a renter that they have 30 days to leave the house they've been in for 12 years. What can we do?
- A: Yes. This is something that happens depending on whether you are month to month tenants or under a lease. You would be well advised to consult with a housing attorney and explore your options as soon as possible. You have rights that might be wasted if you wait too long. Good luck.
- Q. My sister Is filing bankruptcy on a a mortgage she took out against my mothers home. Can the rest of here debts come out
- A: Absolutely! Your mother needs her own attorney, particularly because of the funny business regarding the mortgage. Make sure she gets an experienced bankruptcy attorney to explain everything to her. Good luck.
