- Q. Can dui ticket be dismissed if the officer said no passenger on citation but there was a passenger?
- A: No, the DUI ticket cannot be dismissed for that purpose alone. On the other hand, a gifted lawyer can explore this discrepancy in the ticket to attack the officer's credibility at trial. Additionally, a lawyer may be able to review the ticket and report to see if there are more discrepancies to support a motion to suppress or dismiss the case. Remember, don't go it alone.
- Q. This is my first offense in trafficking drugs with cocaine how high my changes to get the case drop or probation
- A: First of all, sorry to hear you got arrested. When it comes to trafficking in cocaine, the punishment depends on the quantity in your possession. The fact that this is your first offense will be taken into consideration.
Secondly, I need more information to advise you on your chances of getting probation or having your charges dropped. You need an experienced lawyer to review the circumstance of your case to determine if your rights were violated or if there are grounds for filing a motion to suppress or dismiss.
- Q. I was seriously injured as a passenger in a golf cart accident and was airlifted to have emergency spinal surgery.
- A: Yes, you may have a claim against the golf course, especially if they owned the golf cart in question, and liability will depend on the specifics of your case, such as who was driving the cart and was he/she an employee of the golf course, etc. Different circumstances will affect the value of your case, but you need a lawyer as soon as possible to gather the evidence in the case. Remember, a case like this will be handled on a contingency fee basis, meaning no out-of-pocket expense from you. Don't Go It Alone.
