Michael Patrick's practice focuses on the needs of businesses and individuals in the global economy through his extensive expertise in intellectual property, licensing, entertainment, corporate matters, and complex litigation. Mr. Patrick has represented and worked on behalf of some of the most famous corporations and individuals in the world, including, multi-national corporations and well-known celebrities.
Mr. Patrick is a leader in the intellectual property arena. Mr. Patrick has extensive experience with brand and product line development, intellectual property licensing, data privacy, and anti-counterfeiting. Mr. Patrick’s practice also includes counseling clients on the clearance, selection, maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks in the United States and worldwide, as well as prosecuting trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and representing clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Patrick works closely with clients to achieve a comprehensive understanding of their business activities, drivers, and objectives. With this knowledge, Mr. Patrick advises clients on a wide variety of “day-to-day” and complex matters, including matters related to global intellectual property development and enforcement, product development, entertainment, media, complex transactions, and litigation. Mr. Patrick has also advised clients with respect to FDA and FTC regulations, the development and implementation of corporate policies and best practices, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance, acquisitions and numerous other areas.
Mr. Patrick has been featured in the global media, including an extensive interview that was featured on CNBC’s popular television series “American Greed” that continues to be widely shown today.
