Biography
I have been practicing family law exclusively since 2007. I've never done anything else, because I understand how important it is to know what you are doing when you are dealing with someone's family. I have personal experience with my own broken family, and bring that experience with me to better serve my clients who may be faced with the same or similar situation. I also worked for the Florida Attorney General in Child Support Enforcement for about three years. If you are dealing with the Department of Revenue and child support, I may be able to help you.

Legal Answers
- Q. I have a judgement to receive child support in Florida starting Sept 1 2014, what happens when the father doesn't pay?
- A: Move immediately to have the order enforced. You may be able to recover attorney fees for the necessity of having to file this motion.
- Q. Can I called to cancel back child support on my kids farther. Cause he has other kids that he is trying toe help
- A: If you are the mother and you want to waive back support, you can. PLEASE think about what you are doing, because once you waive, you CANNOT get them back and you yourself may need that money at some point. Best of luck to you
- Q. At what age can the child decide for themselves with which parent they want to reside
- A: Usually, a court will consider a child's opinion starting at the age of fourteen. If you are not in court, the child can decide for themselves when they turn eighteen under Florida law.
