A: In order for you to have any legal rights to your son, you will have to file a Petition for Legitimation.
Q. What is O.C.G..A. Title 19-5-3 (13)
A: This is a Georgia state statute located in the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. This provision states the following "(13) The marriage is irretrievably broken. Under no circumstances shall the court grant a divorce on this ground until not less than 30 days from the date of service on the respondent." This means the marriage is done and neither party is at fault. It also states that a court can issue a final order for divorce after 30 days.
Q. Have a friend that is married and his wife is cheating she has another man living with her what can he do
A: I agree with my colleague. He should file for divorce and ask for parenting time. He must still abide by the conditions of his TPO. If he doesn't it could jeopardize his future parenting time.
