Nicole devotes her law practice exclusively to building and protecting families. Nicole's unique assisted reproduction/surrogacy program is designed to give both Intended Parents and Surrogate Mothers support and peace of mind from the moment they contact her office to the birth of the baby and beyond.

Nicole's family building services include a unique and full service program for Intended Parent/Surrogate Mother matching and management of the surrogacy process; family building consulting; surrogate counseling; drafting surrogate agreements as well as egg donor and sperm donor agreements; reviewing surrogate agreements as well as egg donor and sperm donor agreements; Intended Parent/Surrogate relationship management (management of the surrogacy process, no matching); pre- and post-birth orders; co-parent and second-parent adoptions; and legal representation for Intended Parents or Surrogates.

In addition to providing family building services, Nicole also works with people who desire to protect themselves, their families and their assets through proper estate and health planning. She excels in guiding her clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal questions that come up when creating an estate plan. Her legal expertise includes family protection as well as planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. Nicole's family protection services include drafting wills, trusts, living wills, advance directives, incapacity plans, powers of attorney and guardianship plans for minor children (Child Protection Plan).

Nicole holds a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and has obtained advanced training in various aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology and Estate Planning. In addition, she holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia.

Nicole is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, the District of Columbia Bar and the American Bar Association (Assisted Reproductive Technologies Committee).

Nicole is licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
