Premkiran B Reddy
Traumatic Brain Injury Trial Atty (& Spine) | Co-Counsel
I am among the few attorneys holding a M.D., residing professionally at the crossroads of Law and Medicine. My training and experience in various Psychiatry settings, my 15 years of operating a Rehab Clinic, along with my arbitration & mediation certifications, as well as having lived in different countries around the world gives me a unique and distinct broad understanding of the human mind. This includes various Neurological, Endocrine, and Psycho-social factors influencing human behavior.
In 2012, my aunt, a Medical Doctor and Christian Missionary, and my uncle, a full-time minister, experienced a severe head-on collision in my hometown. Unfortunately, I lost my aunt, and as a result, I relocated to my hometown to assist in caring for my uncle, who suffered from severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and physical injuries. Together with my family, which includes my father, a Physical Therapist, we provided round-the-clock care for my uncle at our home for seven years until his passing. Through this firsthand experience, I understand the challenges and toll it takes on caregivers and family members.
I understand injured clients' physical and emotional anguish, changed behavior patterns and other medical needs. Additionally, I am skilled in effective communication and creating a comfortable environment during
intakes and other trial procedures to better assist injured clients.
I assist Attorneys for Case Evaluations to spot Med-Legal Issues. Additionally, I help Attorneys in preparing for and effectively handling both own and opposing parties' Medical Experts’ depositions and cross exams.
This in turn, fosters more successful and expedited negotiations.
As a Co-Counsel, I collaborate with other Attorneys on Medical-Legal cases such as Personal Injury, Med-Mal, Wrongful Death & Product Liability, from client intake to the trial phase. Additionally, I provide assistance to Attorneys in comprehending jurors, their behaviors & responses.
