Raoul Shah
Raoul represents people who have been injured by the conduct of others.
Raoul Shah has spent his career seeking justice for those injured by the actions of others. Raoul brings significant trial and litigation experience and his tireless and measured work ethic to his clients. His collaborative and creative mindset, coupled with his extensive courtroom and legal writing experience, help clients achieve real, just, and meaningful results in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Raoul previously worked as an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney. He first worked as an attorney within the child protection system, working collaboratively with many parties to advance the wellbeing of children in the child protection system. Raoul then served as a felony prosecutor with a focus in prosecutions of crimes against children, where he supported and advocated for crime victims’ rights and sought to hold those who committed crimes accountable for wrongdoing. Through these roles, Raoul has worked on several complex legal issues at all stages of the court process, including pretrial litigation and the review of complex and high-profile cases involving police officer uses of force. Raoul has tried over a dozen cases to verdict, including a wide variety of criminal cases ranging from DWIs to physical and sexual assaults to murders, and civil cases related to child welfare and parental rights.
Raoul has also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge John R. Rodenberg on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. During law school, Raoul was an associate and editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Journal of Public Policy and Practice and a member and President of the Delta Theta Phi Professional Law Fraternity. Raoul’s professional experiences before law school, where he worked as a Community Service Officer for the Minneapolis Police Department and as an investigative intern with Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Minnesota Department of Corrections, also afford him a unique perspective in analyzing and presenting cases.
