Roderick C. Lopez focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury cases. Mr. Lopez has over 20 years of experience handling car accidents, truck accidents, dog bites, medical malpractice, product liability accidents, and other cases related to the negligent or intentional acts of others. He also handles wrongful death claims on behalf of families who have lost loved ones in fatal accidents.
As a Laredo personal injury lawyer, he has represented clients in cases across South Texas, including in Webb, Jim Hogg, Zapata, Starr, La Salle, and Dimmit Counties. His firm is dedicated to providing local representation for local clients. He also provides local counsel services for lawyers and clients outside of South Texas.
Mr. Lopez earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1995. He worked in insurance for three years before attending the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. After graduating with a law degree in 2001, Mt. Lopez passed the Texas Bar Exam and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
He is currently licensed to practice before all state courts in Texas and the federal courts in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Lopez has earned many honors and recognitions over his career. He has won or settled over 1,000 cases and was inducted into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum after winning multiple seven-figure settlements and verdicts. He has also earned a Superb rating from Avvo.
