S. Christopher Hunter
Hunter Law Offices, PLLCS. Christopher Hunter is the founding member of Hunter Law Offices, PLLC. Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Hunter was an associate attorney with Garrison Lawhouse, PC in Dearborn, Michigan, served as a staff attorney at the Elder Law and Advocacy Center, and most recently managed and supervised the Great Lakes Legal – Elder Law Division’s reduced-fee program. Mr. Hunter focuses his practice in the areas of Elder Law, Long Term Care Planning, Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts, Guardianship/Conservatorships, and Social Security Disability. Mr. Hunter graduated from the University of Maine School of Law with a Juris Doctor in January 2006 and received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Franklin College in May 2001. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan in November 2006, the United States District Court—Eastern District of Michigan in December 2006, and the United States District Court—Western District of Michigan in October 2012. Mr. Hunter is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Michigan State Bar, and the Senior, Real Estate, Criminal, and Family Law sections of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. In his spare time, Mr. Hunter enjoys gardening, carpentry, reading, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with his wife Amy.
