- Q. My car was totaled in an accident and I think my tie rods must have failed. What can I do to prove this?
- A: How you probably are going to need an expert to examine the tie rods- I don’t know if it’s a mechanical issue or a metal failure or what? But so I need to examine it and I would also take a look and see if there’s been any recalls on the particular vehicle that you were involved in the accident with. I hope you’re OK, Spencer
- Q. Hello, my minor child was involved in a car accident and recieved a settlement check. It was made out to her mom and I
- A: It depends on how much the check and the settlement are for. Florida has strict rules on the settlement of a minor's claim.
- Q. My mother apparently auto accident claim that has been settled, my father is still alive. They set up probate though?
- A: That’s a complex question. Was there a law suit filed? Is your mom still alive? Do you live in Florida? You need to consult with an experienced probate and a personal injury attorney quickly. Get all the paper work together, police report, insurance information etc.
