Yuriy is an innovative real estate transactional attorney specializing in residential and commercial real estate, leasing, construction and development and investment ventures with a particular emphasis on large commercial acquisitions, sales and financings. Yuriy has extensive experience providing legal counsel to clients concerning the formation, acquisition, financing, development, sale, and leasing across all types of real estate asset classes. In addition, Yuriy has established joint ventures and other strategic partnerships for his clients, including real estate developers, owners, investors and corporate clients. Yuriy has negotiated and drafted commercial leases with nationally recognized tenants and publicly traded companies.
Yuriy’s practical approach to each transaction has earned him a strong reputation among clients as a strategic and thoughtful business adviser. As a dynamic negotiator, Yuriy’s clients appreciate his proactive business approach, creativity in structuring transactions, and his ability to quickly complete transactions.
Prior to founding Mava Law, Yuriy served as General Counsel to AB Capstone, one of New York’s rapidly growing and vertically integrated real estate development firms. At AB Capstone, Yuriy was responsible for all legal matters including the structuring, negotiation and execution of acquisitions, financings, leasing and other development-related activities. In addition, Yuriy was integrally involved in the company’s corporate and operational affairs, including the management of outside counsel.
Yuriy earned his Juris Doctor degree from Touro Law Center and his B.A. in Political Science from Queens College. Yuriy is admitted to practice in the State of New York and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York
