Zachary S Bartman
Zachary S. Bartman, Esq. is a dedicated attorney committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of family law matters in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Whether it is for divorce, child custody, support, or protection from abuse (PFA) cases, Zach exercises both diligence and empathy to deliver favorable results for clients.
Zach believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with each client. Zach takes the time to listen to their concerns, answer their questions, and explain their legal options in plain language. Each client's situation is unique, and he works closely with them to develop a customized legal strategy that is tailored to their needs and goals.
Zach has delivered successful outcomes in complex and high-stakes cases. In 2023, Zach was listed as a Pennsylvania “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a list reserved for 2.5% of Pennsylvania attorneys under 40. Zach also earned the 2023 “Client’s Choice” Award from the attorney reviewal website Avvo.com where he has a five-star rating.
Prior to joining Cooper Family Law, Zach was a litigation associate at a larger Pennsylvania law firm, where he represented clients inside and outside the courtroom. There, Zach was exposed to all aspects of civil litigation, but he developed a passion for advocating for family law clients.
In law school, Zach provided over 900 hours of pro bono legal services at the Community Legal Practice Center in Lexington, Virginia. Before even graduating from law school, Zach represented community residents with limited financial resources in hearings and jury trials as a certified legal intern. Additionally, Zach was an intern with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office as well as a summer associate for a Pennsylvania law firm.
Before law school, Zach graduated cum laude from Gettysburg College with departmental honors in business and political science. At Gettysburg, Zach also served as a TA and the president of the mock trial team.
