A. Renee Pobjecky
Immigration Lawyer - GlobalA. Renee Pobjecky is a partner in the law firm of Pobjecky & Pobjecky, LLP, in Winter Haven, Florida where she focuses her practice on a variety of immigration issues. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in English and Business Administration. In 2001, she received her juris doctorate from Baylor University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Texas. Mrs. Pobjecky is a member of the International Sections of the American Bar Association and Florida Bar. She is an active member of the Winter Haven Women’s Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is currently serving a second term as the Executive Vice Chair for the Central Florida Chapter of AILA. Mrs. Pobjecky completed her second term on the Florida Bar Standing Committee for the Unlicensed Practice of Law. She is a recipient of the Pro Bono Attorney Outstanding Participation Award from Florida Rural Legal Services and the Lakeland Bar Association for 2006, 2008, and 2009. In the past she has been a guest speaker at law schools across Florida for the “Pathways to Law Program” co-hosted by the International Sections of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. Such law schools include Stetson School of Law, University of Florida, Florida State and Barry School of Law. Mrs. Pobjecky is a frequent speaker at local and national events including seminars and conferences hosted by the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
