Biography

Brad is a Senior Partner with the law firm of Matthiesen, Wickert & Lehrer, S.C. where he has been an insurance defense trial attorney for the past 12 years. Brad has litigated and tried numerous personal injury, insurance coverage, toxic tort, lemon-law and Magnuson-Moss warranty cases for individual insureds, insurance companies and numerous automobile dealerships throughout Wisconsin. In addition, Brad has strived to provide legal services in all matters relating to a general practice law firm.

Brad was engaged in the private practice of law in Cedarburg, Wisconsin until he became an Assistant District Attorney with Ozaukee County in 1981, where he tried innumerable misdemeanor and felonies over the next three (3) years. Brad then became employed as Regional Trial Attorney for Milwaukee Insurance Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he continued to litigate and try numerous civil law suits. While at Milwaukee Insurance, Brad earned his C.P.C.U. and C.L.U. designations and was the C.C.I.C. Arbitration Committee Vice Chairman from 1988-89. Brad was also an Instructor at the American Institute of Paralegal Studies.

Brad grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently resides in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin with his family--wife Cindy and six (6) daughters. Brad has been an active member of the Milwaukee Brewers Gold Club and is the Vice President of Administration for the Menomonee Falls Little League. In addition to enjoying all sports, Brad is an avid baseball fan.
