Litigation practice encompassing business, contracts, residential and commercial real estate, commercial leasing, employment and labor, construction, and criminal.
Representation has involves among others, business and entity formation, buying and selling businesses, assets, and business interests, commercial construction design defect and breach of contract/warranty, residential construction breach of contract, employment and labor disputes, real estate purchase and sale disputes, drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and employment documents, drafting estate planning documents, and negotiated with city and county officials, and drafted documents on land use and permit matters.
Represented clients in municipal, state and federal courts.
Former King County Deputy Prosecutor. Prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases including DUIs, assaults, burglaries, robberies, drug offenses, and murder, prepared and argued motions, prepared and argued briefs to the state Court of Appeals, Division I, special prosecutor assigned to the Eastside Narcotics Taskforce.
Former elected official (Councilmember) for the City of Snoqualmie. Well-versed in municipal law and policy, negotiated with Quadrant for the development of Snoqualmie Ridge Phase II, assisted in the drafting of ordinances, sat as chairman of numerous City committees, sat as lead adjudicator on appeals of hearing examiner decisions.
