Jeffrey Mark Harris
Jeff Harris has been Board Certified in Criminal Law by The Florida Bar since 1987. He is a former prosecutor now in private practice practicing law in federal and state courts throughout the country with major emphasis in felony trial litigation and criminal appeals. Since 1978 Mr. Harris has consistently received the top AV Preeminent Peer Review rating from Martindale Hubbell. His peers have presented him with the highest honor for professionalism and excellence in the field of criminal law by awarding him the prestigious Harry Gulkin Award. Mr. Harris is past president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, past president of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, past chairman (twice) of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee, member of The Florida Bar Evidence Rules Committee (twice) and a continuing member of the Executive Council of the Criminal Law Section of the Florida Bar. He is also a frequent lecturer, former adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Law and has taught for many years the Prosecutor/Public Defender Program at the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. He also enjoys the highest AVVO rating (superb) based upon the attorneys qualifications along with the highest rating of Super Lawyer by the Super Lawyer rating organization.
