Julian Stroleny
Miami criminal defense attorney
Hailing from Coconut Grove with familial ties reaching back a century, Mr. Stroleny initiated his academic journey at MAST Academy before obtaining his bachelor's degree from Florida International University. Throughout his law school attendance at the same institution, he immersed himself in practical experience at a prominent probate and guardianship law firm, cultivating a steadfast commitment to clients and fervent advocacy. Demonstrating his leadership capabilities, Mr. Stroleny served as class president and later ascended to the position of President of the FIU Trial Team. In a significant milestone in 2012, Mr. Stroleny represented FIU Law at the 16th Annual National White Collar Crime Mock Trial Invitational in Washington, D.C., clinching first place at the prestigious competition hosted by Georgetown University.
Fueled by a curiosity about the criminal justice system, Mr. Stroleny pursued an internship in the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office Juvenile Division. Here, he engaged in numerous juvenile misdemeanor and felony cases, taking many to trial and securing favorable verdicts. Acknowledged for his outstanding trial advocacy skills, he graduated from law school with honors and received the distinguished Trial Advocacy Award.
Following graduation, Mr. Stroleny embarked on a dedicated public service journey, joining the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office as an Assistant State Attorney. Over the course of his career, he handled a diverse array of cases, from traffic violations and misdemeanors to DUIs and felonies, gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of the criminal justice system. This hands-on experience now informs his approach to every case, where he places a premium not only on protecting clients' rights but also on treating each individual with courtesy and respect, irrespective of the nature of the allegations.
Mr. Stroleny's professional trajectory is characterized by a commitment to excellence and a passion for justice.
