Mike Streich
Mike Streich is a trial lawyer dedicated to helping people who have been seriously injured or killed due to the negligence of others. His primary focus is oilfield and plant accidents, catastrophic workplace explosions, offshore and maritime accidents, and 18-wheeler crashes.
Mike is from Kingwood, Texas and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. While in Austin, he served as a member of the Silver Spurs—an honorary service organization responsible for the care and transportation of BEVO, the University of Texas longhorn steer.
Immediately after college, Mike obtained his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated cum laude. He was a member of the mock trial team and served as vice president of the Student Bar Association.
Before joining Zehl & Associates, Mike spent nearly a decade representing corporate defendants and Lloyd’s of London insurance syndicates in catastrophic personal injury and death matters. He also spent a year working in-house at an offshore construction firm. As a part of this vast and diverse experience, Mike has counselled decision makers both inside corporations and at insurance companies about case evaluation and litigation strategy. He now uses this inside knowledge to assist individuals and families obtain the rightful compensation they are owed after being seriously harmed.
Mike has significant experience litigating personal injury cases, primarily in the energy, maritime, and transportation industries. These include onshore and offshore fires, explosions and accidents and large commercial motor vehicle accidents. Mike has been selected as a “Texas Rising Star” nearly every year since 2017. He is licensed to practice in all Texas state and federal courts.
When not working, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and his daughters, Sloane and Heidi, at their home in Crosby, Texas. In the fall, you will likely find him watching Texas Longhorn football.
