T. Scott Galloway is a founding member of Galloway and Collens, PLLC, a boutique law firm in Huntington Woods, Michigan which focuses its practice on real estate (residential and commercial), property management law, probate and elder law issues. Mr. Galloway regularly assists real estate professionals and their clients with their legal matters throughout Michigan. The law firm and Mr. Galloway represent clients from all corners of the globe who have real property concerns in and around Detroit.
Mr. Galloway is a frequent speaker before the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Real Property Law Section, the Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtors and other professional organizations on topics of real estate law. He is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the American Apartment Owners Association.
Since 2012 Mr. Galloway has been repeatedly recognized as one of the Top Lawyers in metropolitan Detroit by dbusiness magazine.
A former two term Mayor Pro Tem and three term member of the City Council for Ferndale, Michigan, in those capacities Mr. Galloway served on the Ordinance Committee, the Finance Committee, the Board of Zoning Appeals, the Planning Commission, the Police and Fire Board and various pension boards.
His previous legal experience includes work at UAW Legal Services Plan, Oakland/Livingston Legal Aid, Illinois Eighth Judicial Circuit, and the International Union of the United Auto Workers.
Mr. Galloway is an Elder at the Drayton Avenue Presbyterian Church in Ferndale and a Trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of Oakland and Macomb County and the Ferndale Education Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, bicycling, camping, and skiing with his family.
