William Matthew Kowtko
I am a native of central Georgia until I moved to Florida in 2011. While in Georgia, I attended Georgia Institute of Technology for Aerospace Engineering and obtained my degree in Business Administration and Business Economics from Georgia State University. After graduating from Georgia State in 2010, I moved to central Florida to attend Barry University School of Law, starting August 2011. In summer of 2012, I began an internship for a criminal defense attorney in Orlando, focusing on white collar defense. By late 2012, I was gaining experience family law matters and made the decision to shift my internship to solely family law cases. . Upon graduating Barry in December of 2013, I immediately began working full-time for the same family firm in Orlando while studying for the Bar, which I passed in February 2014. I opened my law firm on October 9, 2014, taking on all matters related to family law; I have been fortuitous enough to be able to expand the firm's areas of practice to include criminal defense with family law. My firm accepts family cases involving divorce, paternity (unwed parents), modification of divorce or paternity, child support, relocation matters, and marital agreement drafting or issues and general civil litigation cases involving business disputes, contractual litigation, contractual drafting, small business purchases and/or mergers, personal injury, libel/slander/defamation, among many others. I invite you to view my page on Justia and my firm's webpage for additional information about me, my firm, and my firm's practice.
